April Dawn Pullo

I was born in NY and currently living in Miami Beach with my two beautiful daughters, my husband, and our full house of three dogs one cat, and a fish. At this stage in my life, I consider myself a Renaissance Woman. I see everything as art. I draw, paint, sculpt, garden, cook, sew, do Yoga, meditate, and create every day. I am grateful I was born with the gift of art in my hands. My formal education in art started in High school. Then later on in college, I studied fine art at Parsons School of Design in NYC. From there I opened my own mural and faux painting business in NY. As my life as an artist progressed the world of Scenic Art found me. This led me to paint sets for the stage at Goodspeed Opera House. Later on, I had the great opportunity to paint for Broadway and  Leo Mayer at Atlas Scenic Studio. This was also the time when I joined the United Scenic Artist Union, local 829 which I am still an active member of today. Working under Leo for 10 years was inspirational and became an integral part of my life as a scenic artist. Since then I have been a charge Scenic Artist for countless shows in theater, movies, TV, Opera, Ballet, commercial spaces, and residential homes. In my eyes, no job is too small or large.
